Nute Notes

Making sense of roots and nutes!

Cuttings:
Serenade 2 teaspoons per quart to the misting bottle
keep fungi from developing on the cuttings.

When roots:
Rhizotonic when roots 15ml per gal

Cloning solution:
Clonex (liquid), Superthrive and Hygrozyme
Green Light Rooting Hormone available from Lowes

Cutting lighting: 18 on / 6 off

PH Buffering:
Advanced Nutes Barricade
.1ml/gl Barricade to buffer the ph back up to 5.6.

Mad Farmer organic Ph buffers

DWC
7.0ph, 1230ppm, all tap, okay

DWC down low doing well
7.5ph, 700ppm

EBB
4ph, all RO, bad, wrinkle, yellow, stunt for a week, stems got thicker

Nute
.75oz to .4 ro and .6 tap = 6.0ph
3.5 gal tap, 2 gal ro, 4oz pro gro, 6.2ph,1420ppm

Notes based on House and Garden:
In veg use seaweed but not in bloom
In bloom use bacteria and mycro in first phase
In bloom use carbos the second phase
In bloom use high P ripining supplement last 3 weeks

Notes based on Cutting Edge:
Calcium supplement both veg and bloom
Sugars both veg and bloom
Almost triple the magnesium in bloom as veg
Constant higher P through bloom with no mention of P boosters

Aqua Flakes A&B all but calcium.
Which bottles have calcium?

Veg: Algen and Roots Excelurator, Magic Green foiler
Guess: Calcium is in Algen

Blm:
Weeks 1-4 Roots Excelurator, stop Mycrrhizal 2nd half flowering
Weeks 1-3 Multizyme (maybe is like GH Subculture B) maybe calcium
Weeks 4-8 Bud XL (carbo source) maybe calcium
Week 5 for 3 days Top Booster. Must have other ingredient for 'optical drought'
- why not just turn lights off for an optical drought
- what is the other ingredients besides P and K?
Weeks 6-8 Shooting Powder (ripining 2nd half reproductive stage high P supplement)

Mycorrhizal Root Inoculant
RESULTS: Builds strong root systems
Greatly increases root mass to enhance growth and yield
Helps plants absorb nutrients and water more efficiently
USE from germination or propagation all the way through harvest

Bacterial Root Inoculant
RESULTS:
Root systems will increase, as well as nutrient absorption;
bigger, healthier plants.
HOW:
Selected microbes are cultured to live in high salt environments
Biologically aids nutrient absorption
bacteria and trichoderma fungi colonize the root zone and media to form a symbiotic

relationship with your plants.
Bacillus, Streptomycetes, Actinomycetes, Psuedomonas and Trichoderma fungi colonize in

the root zone, and media, to form a symbiotic relationship with the plant. These

organisms secrete natural growth hormones and enhancers that are available to the plant

through the root zone. SubCulture means robust healthy plants with strong, healthy root

systems that are resistant to environmental stresses.
USE: After germination and propagation

Napthalene Acetic Acid - Napthalene Acetic Acid can significantly increase the number,

length and dry weight of root hairs, small roots an

Hygrozyme Root - Mycorrhical or bacterial?

ADVANCED NUTES- too many
